We’d like to think that one of the reasons we were so successful at the recent PFA Awards is because nurturing new talent is important to us at Expert Wealth. Recently the wonderful Caitlin joined the team for 4 days of work experience during her first year at university. She really enjoyed her time in the office and now plans to return over the summer!  This is what she said:

“My work experience at Expert Wealth Management was an incredible insight into the world of finance, particularly wealth management.
Over the four days, I experienced a whole host of aspects of the business, with no two days being the same.

Day one started with meeting the team behind the operations and an induction into the systems and processes that allow the service to run so efficiently.
Over the coming days, I experienced the excellence of all the business functions, whether it be Kerry, Harry and Allison’s client relationship work, Rachael and Ayesha’s paraplanning work, or even Dom and Jon’s advisory planning. Each area gave a comprehensive insight into how my learnings, particularly economics, could be applied within the job.

Not only did it open my eyes to the fundamentals of wealth management but also a business that truly puts staff at the forefront of its operations and strives for excellence in all areas. As quoted by Dom, “An unhappy team cannot deliver.” And I truly believe that Expert show every value they promote.

Going forward, I know this experience will help to build strong foundations for my future career and has given me a renewed sense of enthusiasm for exploring wealth management.
