FAQs
It’s normal to have plenty of questions when you’re considering financial advice, and we want to help make things as easy as possible. Take a look below where we’ve answered some of the queries we get asked most regularly.
Where are meetings held?
Meetings can take place either at our office in Witney, Oxfordshire, or be held remotely via video call.
Do you have parking?
Yes we do.
Do I have to pay for an initial meeting?
No, the initial meeting is at our expense.
How long should I allow for an initial meeting?
Usually between an hour and an hour and a half. Subsequent meetings are likely to take an hour and a half.
Are you independent?
Yes. We are Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs), which means we start the process with the whole market of products and funds available. Throughout the planning and due diligence process, we narrow these down to the ones that are suitable.
What do you charge for a financial plan?
Every client’s circumstances and needs are different. We will confirm the cost of the strategy/planning work at the end of the Exploration meeting when we have a good understanding of whether we can add value to your situation after costs.
Are you regulated?
We are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). You can view our entry on the FCA register here.
Do you charge a percentage or are your fees fixed?
Fees are usually a percentage of the assets under influence.
