Professionally
Jonathan has almost 30 years’ experience in the financial services profession. He worked with both a major life company and a local financial planning firm, before setting up Expert Wealth Management in 2004. His focus is on providing a financial planning experience that concentrates on the individual and the dreams they have, and developing a plan that helps them to achieve what’s most important.Â
When it comes to his clients, Jonathan loves working with people who are going through the life-changing events of approaching and transitioning into retirement, helping them get the most out of life and continue to live an enriched life going forwards. He also specialises in working with business owners, helping them integrate their personal planning with that of their own businesses.
Personally
Jonathan loves to travel all around the world with his wife Nancy, especially to discover the true culture of the place they are visiting. They spend a fair amount of time in Kenya, Nancy’s native home, where they set up a registered charity called – The Nasio Trust. This aims to end the cycle of poverty by building sustainable communities through the provision of Education, Healthcare and Farming Support.
Jonathan also loves being in the mountains; whether it is walking, climbing or touring. He has combined his love of mountains and the charity, by leading 10 fundraising trips to Kilimanjaro raising more than ÂŁ500,000.
Jonathan comes highly rated on VouchedFor, and has been awarded their Certificate of Excellence.
