At Expert Wealth, we place great importance on nurturing new talent. We recently welcomed Freddy to our team for a 4-day work experience opportunity. Freddy had a fantastic time in our office and here’s what he had to say:

“During my time at Expert Wealth Management, I was given the task of creating a presentation. The reason for this presentation was to explore the idea of the company becoming a B-corp. Firstly, research took place as to learn about the topic, secondly was to put the presentation together ensuring that the information was easily taken in and I was not just reading words off the screen. Finally, was to present this to the directors, Jonathan and Dom, as well as Sue and Dan. After the presentation a discussion was held where questions were asked of me and answered to the best of my ability. This included topics such as legal obligations and costs, these were key areas.

I learnt many things at Expert Wealth: about the world of Financial Planning, day to day life in a very well-functioning office and about myself. What I mean by myself is that it has been an eye-opening, enjoyable experience with a great team surrounding me that has answered any questions and definitely raised green flags with the direction I want my career to go in the long term. Upon arriving everyone was friendly and helpful as I shadowed members of the team who ran through useful software they use on a daily basis with me. A favourite part has been the conversations that I have been part of when discussing client’s needs and wants for the future and possible problems there may be surrounding these.
