Expert Wealth Management Supports Nasio Trust

Ethics form an important part of our business practice at Expert Wealth Management. These range from compliance with the Personal Finance Society Code of Ethics, to working with the highest ethical integrity, to acting in the best interests of each client, for example. They also extend beyond business practice, to include codes of moral decency.

In particular, “Treat people fairly” means a great deal to us here at Expert Wealth Management. Integrity and respect are words that ring true with us across all levels of our practice. With this in mind, we are proud to count among five local businesses offering their support to local charity Nasio Trust’s Sculpture in the Vineyard exhibit this summer.

Nasio Trust

The strap line of Oxfordshire-based Nasio Trust, “changing lives for good”, embodies the way in which the actions of the trust positively impact the prospects of countless individuals, both in Kenya and the UK.

In Kenya, the charity supports orphaned and vulnerable children with daily meals, medical care, education and support, while in the UK it runs a volunteer programme offering life-changing opportunities to young people.

Exit 7 programme

Sculpture in the Vineyard, based at Bothy Vineyard, Frilford Heath OX13 6QW, will raise funds for the Nasio Trust UK Exit 7 programme, which exists to help young people who are falling into antisocial behaviour. The programme offers these young people the opportunity to turn their lives around through positive activities and fundraising, culminating in volunteering in Kenya.

“This is life-changing for them as well, and the experience shapes their futures positively,” says Nancy Hunt, Director of the Nasio Trust.

Sculpture in the Vineyard

By sponsoring Sculpture in the Vineyard, Expert Wealth Management counts among four other local businesses (Slade Legal, Ridgeway Land Rover, David Carden Interior Design and Susan Dunstall Landscape Design) playing a key role in this admirable social enterprise.

Sculpture in the Vineyard kicks off on the 23 May and will run for two weeks till 7 June. The 250 pieces of art on display in the vineyard and winery are produced by over 35 highly professional UK artists.

Nancy Hunt says, “The Nasio Trust is delighted to be part of this artistic venture, right on our doorstep here in Abingdon”. We echo these sentiments, and wish the Sculpture in the Vineyard event every success.
