At Expert Wealth Management, we believe financial education should start early. That’s why we’re proud to offer structured work experience placements for sixth form students interested in finance, business, or economics.
Our programme provides students aged 16–18 with a unique opportunity to explore careers in financial planning, gain practical experience, and learn from experienced, dedicated professionals at our beautiful office in High Cogges, Witney.
What Students Can Expect
- An Introduction to Financial Planning: Learn what financial planners do, why it matters and the difference we make to clients’ lives.
- Professional Skills Development: Acquire hands-on experience by undertaking administrative tasks and research projects, enhancing client communication skills, and mastering financial tools.
- Insight Sessions: Sit in on team meetings, training sessions, and brainstorming with different areas of the business.
- Guidance and Mentoring: Receive support from team members who are passionate about inspiring the next generation.
Programme Details
- Who Can Apply: Year 12 and Year 13 students with an interest in finance, business, or related subjects
- Duration: Typically, 2 days per week up to 3 weeks
- Location: High Cogges, Witney, Oxfordshire
- When: Available during school breaks, Easter/Summer holidays
