As many of you may be aware, the Nasio Trust is a charity founded over 20 years ago by Jonathan’s wife Nancy Hunt. The charity’s mission is to break the cycle of poverty in Western Kenya through education and income generating projects.

This December, Expert Wealth is proudly supporting the Nasio Trust’s Christmas appeal.

Fundraising appeals form an important backbone for Nasio’s work, allowing them to offer urgent relief for people who need it the most.

Inflation in food prices due to prolonged droughts in Kenya has severely impacted the communities with whom Nasio work. Malnutrition and even starvation lurk on the horizon as rural families are unable to afford food.

“This year alone, 18 million people are in danger of going hungry in East Africa.”

In answer to this – the Nasio Trust are appealing to raise funds to purchase as many sacks of Maize as possible for Kenyan families. A 90kg sack of Maize can feed a family of 5 for up to 10 weeks so it’s a simple and effective way to respond to the current crisis.
