Important Information For Our Clients (During Coronavirus)

We’re very aware of the difficulties being faced by the world right now and the extra uncertainty that this creates for us all as individuals.

You’ll be aware that at Expert we consider everyone part of the family and so the safety, health & welfare of our team, clients and their families is of paramount importance to us.

When we’re going through tough times it’s really important that we maintain focus on where we want to get to, without getting sucked in to the here and now.

We’ll get through this as we have done with every other crisis in the past.

You’ll know we’re big fans of Hans Rosling’s book ‘Factfulness – ten reasons we’re wrong about the world and why things are better than you think’. If any of our clients would like a free copy do let us know, and we’ll send you a version to read on your Kindle 🙂

As of Friday the 20th March, we will be fully set up to work remotely and our aim is business as usual; you should not experience or notice any difference in service; we’re here for you as and when you wish to get in touch.

Client meetings

We do not wish to cause further spread of the virus or risk infecting staff, clients or their families by continuing to meet face to face at this time.

We will contact clients who have meetings already booked to offer a Zoom meeting or telephone call instead. We have a guide to using Zoom available here.

All new meeting bookings will be via Zoom until such time as the official guidance changes. Kerry and Allison will be in touch to book annual progress meetings in the usual way, but if you’d like to check in with us in the interim you can book yourself in here.

As you’d expect, we will be keeping our processes under review and will issue further updates should anything change.

Our Portal

We have been rolling out our portal over the last few months and many of you are now registered. The system allows for the secure transfer of information between you and your advice team and is likely to be of great use in the present environment. If you’ve yet to use it, you can sign up and log in here.

If you’re struggling to gain access, please don’t hesitate to give us a call.

Post

At this stage, we are assuming that the post service will continue to function and are arranging collection from the office twice a week. This will inevitably lead to some small delays in our process for which we ask your patience.

To keep communication quick and secure, we encourage all clients to use our Portal for sending documents to us.

We would be glad to help any of your colleagues, friends or family who need it

The world is a scary place right now; when I watch the news, I get anxious in the same way I know many of you do. People are worried about more important things than money, but of course are also concerned about whether they’re going to be okay financially.

We want to help more people like you make smart decisions about their money so if you have friends, family or colleagues who might benefit from talking to us, please do pass on our details.

All best wishes,

Dom
