Jon is a highly qualified Chartered and Certified Financial Planner with over 30 years’ experience. He loves working with clients who are passionate about getting the most out of life and feels his job is to support them living life to the fullest.
Jon is married to Nancy with two children. Together they set up The Nasio Trust, a UK registered charity, which supports disadvantaged young people in Kenya and the UK. In his ‘spare’ time he is a mountain addict who has climbed Kilimanjaro six times, he loves running half marathons and sometimes gets a chance to fit in a round of golf or two.
Dominic Spalding DIRECTOR, FPFS, CFP®
CHARTERED FINANCIAL PLANNER
Dom is a highly qualified Chartered Financial Planner (CII) and Chartered Wealth Manager CFP (CISI) and a Registered Life Planner (Kinder Institute) with over 30 years’ experience.
His work primarily focuses on retirement income planning, helping clients to maintain financial dignity and independence in retirement.
Outside of work Dom is a road cyclist, so drinks coffee and eats cake; when time permits, he likes fishing too.
He is married to Jane and together they enjoy travelling and love great food. They have three grown up children.
Daniel Evans ADVISOR SUPPORT, DipPFS
ADVISOR SUPPORT MANAGER
Dan is a Psychology graduate who started to pursue a career in financial services after working for a large platform provider after university. He completed the Diploma in Financial Planning in 2016 and he is currently working his way towards Chartered status.
Dan will be providing support to Jonathan and Dom as he works towards becoming a financial planner in the near future.
He enjoys spending time with his partner Vicky as well as travelling the globe. He is a season ticket holder for his favourite football team (we won’t mention who) and he goes to as many matches as he can. He also has a love for cooking and experimenting with food.

Kerry is a highly professional Client Relationship Manager with over 27 years’ experience. Her focus is on delivering a friendly and helpful service to our clients and providing invaluable support to the advisers.
In her spare time, Kerry enjoys reading and is a member of a Book Club. She also likes gardening and walking her Golden Retriever, Meg, in the Cotswolds. Kerry has a full and active social life and enjoys spending time with her family and friends, particularly her two grandchildren. Kerry has been married to Russ for over 30 years and has one grown up daughter.
Allison Frost CLIENT SUPPORT
CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER
Allison has 30 years’ experience working in a financial environment and she is enjoying her role providing a friendly administrative service to our clients and providing support to Dom & Jonathan.
Any spare time she has is spent walking and swimming and going to the theatre with family and friends. She is married to Alan and has three grown up children.
Sue Metcalfe BUSINESS SUPPORT
BUSINESS OPERATIONS MANAGER
Sue is responsible for the day to day running of our business accounts, as well as providing support to the Directors.
She has significant experience in both bookkeeping and office management.
Away from her desk she enjoys spending time with her family and is quite busy with three grandchildren. Sue also enjoys going to the theatre and family holidays.
Rebecca Lucas FPFS, CFP
After many years of working as an adviser and paraplanner, Rebecca decided to use her technical knowledge and experience to found her company, Lime Paraplanning, who provide an advanced paraplanning service to EWM.
Rebecca is proud to be a Fellow of the PFS and is both a Chartered and Certified Financial planner and has a vast array of qualifications that add real value to our business.
The key to Rebecca’s success is her excellent technical skills and paraplanning experience coupled with her personal insight into building and nurturing client relationships, while producing compliant, well documented advice.
Tim Hale ALBION STRATEGIC
Albion are passionate about investing and understand the challenges and pitfalls that investors face putting in place – and living with – their investment strategy.
Tim works with EWM to build risk-focused investment strategies to use with our clients and works along side us to provide strong ongoing governance of our investment process.
Tim loves investing and working with clients. He is passionate about the social utility that good investing delivers and his key aims are to simplify investing, build belief, and for us to be confident that we are offering our clients the greatest chance of a successful investment experience.

David helps us to make sure our FCA regulatory responsibilities are fulfilled whilst we concentrate on looking after our clients. He is highly qualified and has a thorough understanding of Financial Services Regulation.
David joined the financial services industry in 1984 and worked as an IFA for 12 years before moving into technical training and compliance consultancy and founded Haven Risk Management in 1996.
He is an Associate of the Personal Finance Society, a Fellow of the Compliance Institute and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.

Sara is a HR professional with more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry and as an independent self-employed consultant. She has extensive experience in a wide range of HR disciplines.
Sara has a proven track record in designing and delivering training workshops, talent management, recruitment, employee engagement and culture change initiatives.
Sara is a highly motivated and driven professional who is proactive, consistent and business focused.
Adam Tarry CLIENT COMMUNICATIONS & WEBSITE STRATEGY
Adam is an experienced digital designer with a broad skill set. He’s responsible for the conception and creation of the Expert Wealth Management websites and any other digital media required to support their offering.
When not sweating away at a laptop screen, you can often find Adam floating about in the ocean in his native Guernsey.

Thirty years ago, securing an income in retirement was relatively simple; collect years of service in the company’s pension plan (or some government pension plan for public servants) and retire on a defined percentage of your final salary. A combination of poor government policy, weak investment strategy, and rapid increases in longevity has all but destroyed this type of pension.
